As a member of the Huron-Wendat First Nation, over ten years Philippe combines the roles of facilitator, strategist, communicator and innovator into Indigenous context. Previously, I was an executive producer and juries/expert on audiovisual sector committees across the country. He is graduated from Université de Montréal (B.Sc), he holds a professional certificate from McGill University and Cégep de Jonquière Art et technologie des Médias (DCS diploma).
Definitely driven by the mission, he launched in 2017 the production company Yändata’ with the objective that was to increase knowledge and access to integrated communications services in Indigenous communities in Quebec and pursuit capacity building development.
From his accomplishment and education, Philippe has developed a deep understanding of Indigenous communities and how to effectively use the media to build awareness and foster connections.
In 2022, he accepted a new opportunity to become a facilitator and Indigenous innovation advisor at the national level. Then, Philippe move to a audiovisual Industry and Policy Analysis role to support this evolving sector.
